Austin Kilaru, MD MSHP is an emergency physician and health services researcher. His work seeks to improve the value of care delivered in hospitals and emergency departments, through innovative care delivery models as well as payment innovations that improve care coordination, appropriate use of hospital resources, and linkage to social services. He also seeks to understand the effects of payment models on health equity. His research has been featured in the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, JAMA Health Forum, and Annals of Emergency Medicine.
