Sri Lekha Tummalapalli, MD, MBA, MAS is a nephrologist and health services researcher at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her research examines value-based payment models and healthcare delivery strategies aimed at improving quality of care for patients with kidney disease and other chronic diseases. Her research has been funded by AHRQ, NIDDK, the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, and Dalio Center for Health Justice.
Dr. Tummalapalli obtained an MD/MBA from Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard College. She completed internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and nephrology fellowship at University of California, San Francisco, where she also obtained a Master's in Clinical Research. She practices inpatient nephrology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology Quality Committee.
